On Pestalozzi's "Political Anthropology" : The Questionable Points of Rang's Interpretation of Pestalozzi's My Inquiries

110004680843The purpose of this paper is to attempt an examination of Rang's interpretation of My Inquiries as part of my My Inquiries-study. Rang understands the anthropology of My Inquiries as being political, and presents five theses as the elements of so-called political anthropology : 1) anthropology orientated socially to a high degree ; 2) anthropology orientated eudemonistically to sensuous want ; 3) anthropology orientated to culture-and society-criticism ; 4) anthropology orientated to individual and social independence, freedom, autonomy ; 5) historical-dialectic anthropology.
